- Jori Lynn Felker | IWC List
< Back Jori Lynn Felker joriwritestv@gmail.com Agent: Michael Chung (Verve) Coverfly Forged amidst the biting winds of Chicago with a Nintendo joystick in hand, Jori once earned a Neuroscience degree just to spite a misogynistic ex. But upon realizing GREY’S ANATOMY poorly resembled her vision of being a doctor, she disappointed her conservative Jewish family, pivoting into entertainment. With eight years in the support staff trenches, Jori's eclectic journey spans from Disney kid’s comedies (GABBY DURAN & THE UNSITTABLES) to erotic thrillers (THE IDOL). Yet, it was in the universe of her frozen-time coming-of-age drama BETWEEN THE RAINDROPS where Jori's distinctive whimsical voice found its home. Science, family, and sexuality permeate her writing, often engineering high concepts to unveil the unsavory and complex facets of her characters. Currently, Jori is penning the feature adaptation of the indie-darling game THE UNFINISHED SWAN for PlayStation and supporting the writers’ room on the first season of the FOR ALL MANKIND spinoff show on Apple. Between saving Zelda or 'catching 'em all' in Pokemon, Jori works her way through her 'alphabet hobbies,' which have included everything from Blacksmithing to Exotic Dancing. She is currently on the letter ‘H’ and taking courses in ‘computer hacking.’ Honors & Awards Writer’s Lab - Bonfire (Baobab) 2020 Nicholl Fellowship – (Top 10%) The First Year - 2020 Unique Voices – Finalist - The First Year - 2020 Current member Female, LGBTQ+ THE UNFINISHED SWAN (Feature - Magical Realism) ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND meets GROUNDHOG DAY Struggling with a tough decision, a teenage boy accidentally stops time, but can’t figure out how to restart it.
