Nicole Jones-Dion Completes Staff Writer Run on Lionsgate/FOX Drama THE INTERROGATOR
Screenwriter Nicole Jones-Dion just wrapped her run as a Staff Writer on the upcoming Lionsgate/FOX espionage thriller THE INTERROGATOR, starring Stephen Fry and Jenna Elfman. The series, ordered straight-to-series for the 2026-27 season, marks Jones-Dion's first staff position on a network drama and her most recent credit in a career that spans television, feature films, vertical microdrama, and the stage.
Set in Washington, D.C., THE INTERROGATOR centers on former MI6 agent Conrad Henry (Fry) and his handpicked team of brilliant outsiders. When conventional methods have failed, Henry's quirky charm, superior intellect, and mind-bending behavioral maneuvers make him the only man able to lockpick the minds of the world's most dangerous criminals. Jenna Elfman plays Lisa Ann Woodrow, a former CIA rising star whose career was derailed after a mission went wrong; she now serves as handler for Henry's team at the D.I.A. The project is a co-production between Lionsgate Television and Fox Entertainment Studios, with Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie serving as showrunners.
Jones-Dion joined the writing staff for the show's first season after completing the FOX Entertainment Writers Incubator, a program designed to prepare writers for exactly this kind of staff position.
"THE INTERROGATOR was the best kind of education," Jones-Dion said. "The FOX Fellowship was good training wheels, but nothing quite prepares you for the blood, sweat, and tears of a network show. I'm grateful to the room and to everyone at FOX and Lionsgate for the opportunity."
Jones-Dion's career has been defined by range across formats. She has written five produced feature films, including STASIS, which she also directed and which streamed on Netflix; TEKKEN 2: KAZUYA'S REVENGE, based on the video game franchise and released theatrically in Asia; and DRACULA: THE DARK PRINCE, released by Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Her television credits also include the SyFy Channel movie THEY FOUND HELL.
Jones-Dion is a member of the Writers Guild of America West, Women in Film, and Veterans in Media & Entertainment.
