GOOD DEED ENTERTAINMENT’S “ADVANCED CHEMISTRY” HITS ROKU
Sexy science-based romcom was Top 3 on STARZ
Los Angeles, CA (August, 2026) – Good Deed Entertainment’s raucous romantic comedy ADVANCED CHEMISTRY starring Samba Schutte (Saturn Award nominee for Pluribus, Our Flag Means Death), Chaunté Wayans (Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready), Sarah Burns (Barry), Kiran Deol (Sunnyside), Iqbal Theba (Glee) and T'Keyah Crystal Keymah (That's So Raven) has just hit Roku, following its theatrical release and a successful run on STARZ where it hit Top 3.
ADVANCED CHEMISTRY is also now available on Amazon Prime, Pluto, and Tubi. It currently stands at 97% fresh on the Rotten Tomatoes Popcornmeter.
Roku has over 80 million monthly active users, bringing ADVANCED CHEMISTRY’S reach to ~900M across platforms. Roku is ad-supported, meaning ADVANCED CHEMISTRY is free to watch there. The film had a sold-out world premiere at top festival Dances With Films New York, followed by an additional selection at Dances with Films Los Angeles.
ADVANCED CHEMISTRY is directed by first-time feature director Etana Jacobson and produced by Alec Moore, Jane Miller, Sarah Burns and Jacobson, with Moore also writing the screenplay. The film was executive produced by Luke Taylor and Matthew Helderman of Buffalo 8.
In the film, a scientist (Schutte) injects his best friend (Wayans) with a compound he's created to help her stop cheating on her wife (Burns), but when the wife finds her new fixation suffocating, the wife gets a dose too, which backfires as she falls for the scientist.
Director/Producer Jacobson says, “Advanced Chemistry is a raucous romcom that asks ‘What if A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream was fueled by science?’ It’s a story where truth is stranger than fiction."
Adds Writer/Producer Moore, "The success of Oppenheimer proved that audiences are interested in stories about scientists. And our movie is even funnier than Oppenheimer!”
Good Deed Entertainment is best known for its release of the Oscar-nominated film LOVING VINCENT.
