Tim Kontje is an LA-based screenwriter with an affinity for stories that combine unlikely heroes and crackerjack action with quirky humor. He is currently the assistant to the creator and co-showrunner of the Netflix hit series GINNY & GEORGIA, and his previous exploits include court reporting on criminal trials and handling product placement for Lifetime movies.
A winner of numerous contests, including Stage 32, Emerging Screenwriters, and Creative Screenwriting, Tim is also a Nicholl Fellowship semifinalist, board member of the Junior Hollywood Radio and Television Society, and member of the Independent Writers' Caucus.
