Steven Vivell

Steven Vivell is a writer and actor living it up in L.A. After a childhood in neurodivergent fantasyland, high school drama revealed he was an empath who could make human connections with theatricality. While earning his BA in Theatre Arts from LMU, his father died two weeks before his senior thesis performance, during his semester abroad in Germany. Thanks to the critical support from his fellow artists, Steven delivered his iconic monologue as the Devil. He received an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA, where he discovered his gift for feedback and collaboration in the writer’s room. He writes genre-comedy hybrids, where neurodivergent characters embrace their empathy and discover their community. While it would be meaningful to win an EGOT, Steven’s dream accolade would be his own flavor of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.
