Lynn Esta Goldman was born and raised in Miami and later escaped to San Francisco, where she worked as an artist and dancer, teaching ballroom and salsa, before becoming interested in film and screenwriting.
Her life experiences range from teaching a hundred Chinese to salsa dance on a Shanghai riverboat to working on a Pediatric HIV ward.
She was a finalist in the Nicholl Competition with two different screenplays, won a Gold Prize in the PAGE, and is a member of The Writers Lab sponsored by Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman. Her screenplay, THE WAY YOU MOVE, is in development with producer Mitchell Peck. She writes dramas, thrillers and dramedies.
