Elijah Sariñana

Elijah Sariñana is a Mexican/Nahua writer and filmmaker committed to crafting universal narratives through a lens of cultural specificity. He specializes in genre, with a focus on sci-fi, horror, and fantasy. Storytelling isn’t just his passion, it’s in his blood. He was a writer on Seasons 1 and 2 of Nocturno: Tales From the Shadows, the acclaimed horror anthology podcast series starring Danny Trejo.


He recently completed the first season of Zone of Silence, starring Mario Lopez and Eric Winter, and is developing Vastland Saga, a multi-format sci-fi franchise anchored by the vertical series March of the Inferno. Elijah writes with a blend of horror, heart, and humor, combining mythos, resistance, and worldbuilding into emotionally resonant storytelling. He is dedicated to expanding what “genre” can look and feel like when told with a spirit anchored in the past and a mind set toward the future.
