Collin Lieberg

Collin Lieberg is a sci-fi/fantasy, drama, mystery, and verticals writer living in the DC suburbs. He earned too many degrees for his own good, studying History and Philosophy at UC Irvine, University College Utrecht in the Netherlands, the University of Sussex, and the University of Warwick, both in England, where he often felt out of place for not speaking the language or having a funny accent. As the Creative Executive of the production company Cobalt Knight, Collin helped option and develop a story from the award-winning, best-selling board game TERRAFORMING MARS. A lifelong tabletop gamer and roleplayer (before it was cool!), games inspired him to write the short story A MOVEMENT THROUGH TIME, a modern take on the classic “Grandfather Paradox.” While working as a Master Control Operator at Discovery (now WBD), Collin monitored enough true crime to write THE SENIOR’S GUIDE TO HOMICIDE, a 1-hour dramedy mystery about a drug-dealing retiree who kills people to get justice for her daughter’s murder. Collin has taken courses with Roadmap Writers, Script Anatomy, Stage32, the ISA, and Jeff Howard (The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, Resident Evil). His scripts have placed at the Austin Film Festival, ScreenCraft, and Final Draft’s “Big Break.”
