Brad M. Johnson

Brad is a Pacific Northwest-based writer-producer-director who returned from a 15-year detour into the world of corporate marketing to focus on a more personal form of storytelling. His work has been recognized by Final Draft, The Black List, the Walt Disney Company, and MGM among others.

In 2022, Brad launched The Grey List, an initiative to push back against ageism in the entertainment industry by curating a selection of production-ready feature and pilot scripts from writers over the age of 40.

Brad is also a filmmaker through his company, Daisy If You Do Productions. His directorial debut, CHAT, won the Audience Favorite award at the Poulsbo Film Festival (2023), and his most recent production, SENSE OF EMERGENCY, debuted at the 2025 HollyShorts Film Festival. He will be directing his next film, DEEP FAKE, in 2026.

Brad is currently looking for the right representation and is open to OWA’s.

When he isn’t working on his next script or film, Brad spends his time watching curling (hoping to one day join a team) and making bad puns that make his family’s eyes roll.
