Mere Walton's new novel THE RUNNYMEDE PLAYHOUSE blends her family history with WWII top-secret work. This historical fiction novel takes place in Dayton, Ohio, and discusses how Jack Tinsley, worked with polonium, creating the trigger for the atomic bomb.
Synopsis: "When a retired chemical engineer is visited by the FBI, he recounts his years at The Runnymede Playhouse, and how his top-secret work affected him, and everyone in his life."
This is Walton's sixth novel, and similar to many of her projects, has an accompanying drama screenplay which has won accolades from the PAGE Awards, and Geneva International Science in Fiction Screenplay Awards.
